Hypnosis is a powerful way of using your own inner resources to bring about change. By describing – rather than rationalizing and analyzing – your existing patterns and the changes you want to achieve, you set the scene for your unconscious mind to create positive new patterns and behaviours. A session at our conveniently located Brighton hypnotherapy clinic can catalyse major changes in your life.
Hypnotherapy is a very effective technique for many ailments such as anxiety, phobias and other depression related issues, it can be used to increase self-esteem and confidence and support you with stop smoking, managing your weight or stress.
If you are not sure whether hypnosis can help you with your issues, please get in touch with me to have a free initial discussion.

Just picture for a moment that your mind works in two parts: the conscious and unconscious mind.
The conscious mind is analytical, rational and logical. It’s that little voice in your head that tells you to do things. The conscious mind also holds your short-term memories, and it’s often wrong about things.
The unconscious mind works a bit like a computer, where all your beliefs, values and long-term memories, your emotions, experiences, feelings and interpretations are stored. With all that information, your unconscious mind directs you to behave in certain ways, positive or negative.
Being in “a trance” sounds a little strange, what is it like?
Remember those times when you were “dreaming” in the classroom, or you were driving and couldn’t remember whether you passed that village or turning? You realised an hour had gone past yet it felt like a minute…
Well, that was being in a trance: you didn’t pay attention to what you were consciously doing. The little voice in your head was quiet.
In a hypnosis session I will guide you into the same kind of trance, but in a very controlled and safe environment. Nothing can happen to you, nor will you be made to do anything you don’t want to do.
When you’re in that lovely state of relaxation, I guide you to help you alter behaviours you want to change or experiences you want to resolve, to something more useful. This allows you to achieve the changes you want to make.
All you have to do is allow yourself to want to make the changes; to listen, imagine, sense and think.
Be positive and open-minded and allow whatever happens to happen.
Why not try for yourself with these 10 easy steps to hypnotise yourself.
As a member of the General Hypnotherapy Register, I follow a strict code of ethics which gives my clients the peace of mind to know they are in safe hands with me.
